Back in the international spotlight
Since its debut in 2017, Rally Silesia has been part of the Polish Championship. In 2023 the event gained international status as part of the FIA European Rally Trophy. A year later, thanks to the efforts of the organisers and support from partners, it was promoted to the elite group of eight key events forming the FIA European Rally Championship. This season, Rally Silesia – supported by the Silesian Voivodeship and Superauto.pl Silesian Stadium – once again carries international status within the FIA ERT.
The rally Is also a decisive stage In the Polish championship battle, with the title once again likely to be settled on Silesian roads. Since 2018, the event has also featured the spectacular Millers Oils HRSMP, while in 2025 the Southern Rally Championship (RMP) joins the programme.

Rally Silesia – who’s competing? What cars will we see?
A total of 94 crews (188 competitors) are entered for Rally Silesia. Twenty-five duos will bring four-wheel drive machinery, including 11 Rally2 cars – the fastest and most advanced rally cars in Poland, with over 300 hp, permanent 4WD, long-travel suspension and sequential gearboxes. Each Rally2 car is worth over one million zloty.
The RSMP entry lists 29 crews, headed by championship leaders Jakub Matulka and Damian Syty (Škoda Fabia RS Rally2, no. 2). Starting with number one are two-time Rally Silesia winners and double Polish champions, as well as current European Championship leaders, Mikołaj Marczyk and Szymon Gospodarczyk (Škoda Fabia RS Rally2). Number three has been assigned to Grzegorz Grzyb and Adam Binięda (Škoda Fabia RS Rally2). Completing the top five on the entry list are Jarosław Kołtun/Ireneusz Pleskot (Škoda Fabia RS Rally2, no. 4) and Łukasz Byśkiniewicz/Daniel Siatkowski (Škoda Fabia RS Rally2, no. 5).
A surprise entry is 19-year-old Tymek Abramowski. Focused mainly on the European Championship this season, he has already won three ERC rounds in ERC3 and, alongside Jakub Wróbel, claimed the M-Sport Fiesta Rally3 Trophy. In Rally Silesia he steps up to Rally2, debuting in a Citroën C3 Rally2 with Jakub Gerber co-driving. After a short break, current Polish champions Jarek and Marcin Szeja (Škoda Fabia RS Rally2, no. 6) also return to the stages.
Class 3 (Rally3) will feature five duos, led by Adrian Łabuda and Michał Kuśnierz (Ford Fiesta Rally3). In 2WD, Marcin Górny and Mateusz Martynek head a 14-strong entry.

Forty-two crews will contest the Southern Rally Championship round, among them series leaders Szymon Gańczarczyk and Sławomir Parzyk.

Superauto.pl Silesian Stadium: the arena of rally deciders
Rally Silesia has often played a decisive role in title battles. In 2018, Tomasz Kasperczyk and Damian Syty beat Jakub Brzeziński/Kamil Kozdroń by just 0.2 seconds over 112.02 km – the closest finish in Polish championship history, equivalent to less than six metres.
In 2019, Marczyk and Gospodarczyk’s victory sealed their first Polish championship, with Marczyk becoming the youngest title-winner in RSMP history at 23 years, 10 months and 15 days.
In 2023, Wróblewski/Wróbel won the rally, but Grzyb/Binięda celebrated even more: fourth place secured Grzyb’s third national title and Binięda’s first.
In 2024, Rally Silesia joined the ERC calendar, closing both the European and Polish seasons. With both titles undecided, the stakes were huge. Hayden Paddon and John Kennard travelled nearly 19,000 km from New Zealand to clinch the ERC crown, while brothers Jarek and Marcin Szeja took the Polish title on home ground.
This year’s Rally Silesia is crucial for Gliwice driver Jakub Matulka. The 25-year-old, co-driven by Damian Syty, has stood on the podium in all five RSMP rounds so far, winning three. He leads with 154 points to Grzyb’s 102. To seal the championship at home, Matulka only needs to ensure Grzyb does not outscore him by more than two points.
