Southern Rally Championship will race on sunday
The Rally Silesia 2023 is coming up fast. With the publication of the supplementary regulations for the Southern Rally Championship, we have learned all the details. During this year’s edition, crews competing in the Motul HRSMP will take to the roads on Friday and Saturday, while the RMP will join the struggle on Saturday evening and Sunday.
The so-called ‘regional’ competition will start where the Motul HRSMP competitors will finish – at the Silesian Stadium. As soon as the starting ceremony takes place on Saturday 9 September at 05:50 p.m., the crews will head for the superstage around the Witches’ Cauldron. This attempt will be the only one during which it will be possible to see all the competitors competing in the Rally Silesia on the route, as the eyes of the fans will also be entertained by the crews competing in the European Rally Trophy, the Polish Rally Championship and the aforementioned historic championship.
On Sunday, 10 September, the drivers and pilots competing in the Southern Rally Championship will complete exactly the same stages as the competitors in the most important Polish rallying series. The rally cavalcade will complete the stages in Ochaby and Kiczyce twice. The first is scheduled to start at 11:40 a.m., the second at 12:20 p.m. Later on, fans will be able to see the rally cars during a regrouping in Skoczów, while the afternoon loop will start at 02:10 p.m.
Altogether, the crews competing in the Southern Rally Championship will have nearly 55 kilometres of stages to cover. The winners will be awarded at the finishing ceremony, which will take place at 05:30 p.m. at the Silesian Stadium.

The Rally Silesia is organised in a cooperation with the poviats of Cieszyn, Pszczyna, Bielsko and Bieruńsko-Lędziński, the city of Jastrzębie-Zdrój, as well as the communes of: Skoczów, Jasienica, Hażlach, Pawłowice, Strumień and Dębowiec.
