Rally Poland 2026 will take place in Silesia!

A major Polish motorsport event is heading south – the Silesian Voivodeship will host the 82nd Rally Poland, one of the oldest and most prestigious rallies in the world. Next year’s edition runs on 24–26 July.

Known to fans until now as Rally Silesia, the event steps up a level – from next year it will run as Rally Poland, counting towards the FIA European Rally Championship (ERC). Rally Silesia previously hosted an ERC round at a time when Rally Poland was a WRC counter. In 2026, Rally Poland in Silesia becomes the country’s flagship rally.

This is a new chapter for Polish rallying – built on strong organisational foundations, regional rallying tradition and the Silesian region’s potential.

Rally Silesia traces its roots to the Rally Mikołów, which ran for several years as a regional event. In 2017 it joined the RSMP calendar and has been held annually since, earning the respect of competitors and fans alike. After an exceptionally well-reviewed edition in 2024, the rally was seriously considered as a new base for Rally Poland – and that decision is now official.

Rally Poland is a legend of European motorsport. First held in 1921, it is the second-oldest rally in the world after Rallye Monte-Carlo. Over the decades it has moved between regions – from Lviv, through Kraków, Warsaw and Lower Silesia to Warmia and Masuria – remaining a symbol of rally passion and top-level sporting standards.

Grzegorz Wrobel, President of the Motorists’ Foundation.

“The opportunity to organise Rally Poland in Silesia is an honour and a great distinction. We would like to thank the Polish Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (PZM). For more than a decade we have built our experience step by step – from regional rallies, through national events, to last year’s highly rated ERC round. Being entrusted with such a prestigious event is a major challenge, but together with the dedicated automobile clubs – in Silesia and across Poland – we are confident we can deliver a standout motorsport event and a great spectacle. Silesia has rich rallying traditions and is home to many decorated competitors, and we have no doubt it will be an excellent home for Rally Poland,” said Grzegorz Wróbel, President of the Motorists’ Foundation.

“Across the years, Rally Poland has proven it is ‘Polish’ not just in name – different surfaces and different locations are part of its identity. Since 1921, when the first edition ran from Warsaw to Białowieża, the rally has marked its presence in many regions, repeatedly hosting the best drivers and the sport’s top series – the World and European championships,” added Michał Sikora, President of PZM.
